There's something about the saltiness and crispiness of bacon that goes so well with asparagus. You can have this as a tasty snack or for breakfast served with eggs and avocado on a bed of spinach.

 1 bunch of asparagus, ends trimmed off
 34 slices of free-range, nitrate free bacon (cut in half)
 A pinch of Changing Habits Pepper (or cayenne pepper if you like it spicy)

Preheat oven to 180C.

Wrap half a piece of bacon around each asparagus and place on a baking tray.

Sprinkle with some salt, pepper and/ or cayenne pepper to taste.

Place in the oven and cook until golden brown and the bacon has started to crisp up, this should take roughly 15 minutes.

When ready, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.

Serve and Enjoy! It also goes really well with a small drizzle of lemon juice on top when serving.
