Cyndi O’Meara is a nutritionist, film maker, bestselling author, speaker and founder of The Nutrition Academy and Changing Habits, a whole food company that believes everything begins and ends with food and that health food should actually be just that – healthy.
Cyndi graduated with a degree in Nutrition from Deakin University in 1984 where her special interest was ancestral foods. At the end of her degree she was so disillusioned by the nutritional guidelines that she paved her own path, steering clear of the low-fat diets of the day.
In 1998 Cyndi produced best selling book ‘Changing Habits Changing Lives’. In 2016 she released the acclaimed documentary ‘What’s With Wheat?’ which received 150,000 downloads globally in the first week. Then in 2020 brings LAB TO TABLE, the completely revised, updated and extended version of Cyndi’s bestseller, Changing Habits Changing Lives.
Cyndi created the Nutrition Academy to educate people so they are empowered to know better, eat better and live better – because everyone deserves to know exactly what they are eating.

Glycerol is another of those tricky words that you may read on an ingredient`s list but not know what it actually means. Glycerol is the name of a carbon that interacts within your body. Industrial glycerol is often created through chemical processing, which can involve petroleum-derived steps or harsh refining.
Learn more about glycerol and other chemical additives in Cyndi`s blog Flavours in Food and Vaping.
Whatever reason you have for studying with The Nutrition Academy, you will benefit from not only the direct knowledge learned but the skills you develop which can be applied in different situations, however you move forward once graduating.
