Our Government’s Health Priorities

Our Government is not addressing the elephant in the room – Chronic Disease

In the past 4 years since I registered with Mygov, I have had three emails from Medicare, our health agency in Australia.

One was for organ donation and the other two were to tell me that I was eligible for free vaccines.

The opening sentence was that the vaccines were simple, safe and effective for harmful diseases.

My children who are married and with children also get mail from Medicare letting them know that their children’s vaccines are free and are simple, safe and effective.

I have not received a letter from Medicare about my diet, my movement, my sun exposure, my sleep, my connection with family and friends, nature time, grounding and the simple and free lifestyle initiatives I should take to stay healthy.

Instead, I’m told to inject into my body something that I’m told is simple safe and effective, but when I queried these letters for the simple, safe and effective studies, they failed to send it to me.  Instead, they sent me a propaganda piece without references on vaccines, they sent me the ‘why people have become hesitant to vaccine’ study, they sent me so much about their beliefs on how simple, safe and effective vaccines were, but failed to send any credible study.  I know for a fact that there are no studies.  This is because they believe that it would be unethical to study unvaccinated people, because everyone should be vaccinated.

But recently a study was done, and a documentary was made about it.  The documentary is called An Inconvenient Study.  The study was conducted at the Henry Ford Centre comparing vaccinated and unvaccinated and the results were that the unvaccinated were a healthier group than the vaccinated.  But the study was buried in 2020 and is only coming to light due to the organisation ICAN.

How to Actually Be Healthy

I’ve lived my life doing the right things with regards to evolutionary biology and lifestyle.  I eat real food not ultra-processed foods, I do not eat trendy foods nor take trendy supplements.  I move every day, swimming, walking, running and bike riding.  I connect with family and friends, I make sure my eyes and body see the sunshine, I take my shoes off and walk on the earth (grounding), I take time to rest, I sleep well and I try to harmonise my nonnative EMF’s and light pollution. 

I’m 66, I take no medications and I never had, I have no chronic disease, I’m capable of hiking with a full backpack for 20km a day. I love challenging myself in trail run competitions out in nature and I don’t vaccinate against the flu nor pneumococcal nor shingles (all free for me as said in the letters from Medicare) due to the ingredients and the lack of safety and efficacy in most vaccines.  I’m particular about the ingredients in my food, so of course I’m particular about things that can be injected into me. I’m particular about what I put on my skin and I’m particular about having no chemicals sprayed on my foods on my farm.

The two vaccines that I was told that I should have from my last letter from Medicare are the shingles and flu vaccine.  So, I decided to look up the insert myself to find the ingredients and possible side effects and the safety and efficacy of these two vaccines.

No surprises.  The ingredients put me off straight away.  I don’t need to know much more, but I read on.

Ingredients of Flu Vaccine

Trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine, surface antigen haemagglutinin of each of the 3 recommended influenza virus strains, 100 ng ovalbumin, 0.01 mg formaldehyde, 0.015 mg cetrimonium bromide, 1 mg sodium citrate, 0.2 mg sucrose, 1 ng gentamicin sulfate (antibiotic)

May contain traces of: chicken proteins, tylosine tartrate, polysorbate 80 (emulsifier), hydrocortisone

Ingredients of Shingles (Zoster) Vaccine

Recombinant Varicella Zoster Virus glycoprotein E antigen (ASO1B adjuvanted vaccine) Powder and suspension, Each 0.5 mL reconstituted dose contains:

  • 50 micrograms of gE antigen (genetically engineered)
  • Sucrose (sugar)
  • Polysorbate 80 (emulsifier
  • Monobasic sodium phosphate dihydrate
  • Dibasic potassium phosphate

These are adjuvanted with ASO1B Adjuvant System (Suspension). The adjuvant includes:

  • plant extract Quillaja saponaria saponin (QS-21) (50 micrograms) 
  • 3-O-desacyl-4’-monophosphoryl lipid A (MPL) from Salmonella minnesota (50 micrograms)
  • Dioleoylphosphatidylcholine (liposomal technology)
  • Cholesterol
  • Sodium chloride 
  • Dibasic sodium phosphate 
  • Monobasic potassium phosphate

Just the ingredients alone make you wonder how safe these vaccines are.

Firstly, there is polysorbate 80, I won’t eat anything with this compound in it since it is a synthetic emulsifier and has shown to cause gastric inflammation and distress. When injected it can cause anaphylaxis, shortness of breath, allergic reaction, and facial flushing.

This same compound is used in mRNA vaccines and can be used in medications and supplements, and it is a forcing of a compound into spaces of the body it may not normally go into. 

Just like the Henry Ford Study, I am sure Australia can do a study on the health of the vaccinated vs unvaccinated.

How Could Australia Understand Vaccine Health?

I was looking at my records in Medicare and noticed that they know my last doctor’s appointment (which was to get 7 stitches out of my arm) and they know my vaccination status.  They have every detail of my health in these records, including medications on PBS (prescribing benefits scheme – free medication).  Surely a very smart computer operator and statistician could figure out via age group and vaccine status the health of taking these yearly vaccines and not.

It would be an interesting study.  Why has the Australian government not yet done this?

Doesn’t the Australian public deserve to know the outcomes of taking a flu shot every year, taking a COVID shot every year, taking pneumococcal and shingles vaccines?  These are what I can see is what is scheduled for the adult population. 

Having said that, doesn’t the Australian public deserve letters from our healthcare provider of what lifestyle changes they can do to stay healthy? It would be a great initiative.

Letters that encourage less ultra-processed foods and better eating habits, morning and afternoon sunshine, get out and move and different initiatives to do this, run clubs, walk clubs, Pilates, yoga, gyms, swimming, bike riding. Do they send a letter to encourage family and friend time, good sleep initiatives, grounding a proven ion exchange for more energy?  Do they encourage the use of state parks and national parks to get more nature time?

With 90% of Australians dying from chronic disease, 6% die from communicable or infectious diseases (which is what vaccines are used for) and the rest from accidents, surely a letter from our social healthcare provider encouraging better eating and lifestyle changes would be a far better initiative than sending a yearly letter about free vaccines.

How Could Australians Be Healthier?

Lifestyle changes are free: grounding (take your shoes off and hit the sand or grass or dirt), exercise (go for a walk), sleep (find a good bed), sunshine (go outside).

The reason I started The Nutrition Academy is that I’ve watched a government prioritise and reward bad health, but never reward someone who has good health.

Health is something that if you have it there are a million other priorities, but when you don’t have health, health becomes the priority.  The system is geared waiting for you to get sick rather than prevention through integrative diet and lifestyle changes.

Functional Nutrition Consultants trained by The Nutrition Academy should be at the forefront of everyone’s health management.  The government is not going to turn the big ship of diagnosis and treat with drugs, surgery or chemo and treat the symptom rather than the root cause, so it’s up to the individual to take responsibility, educate about how to get healthy and/or stay healthy and don’t become a statistic.  Remember a statistic is when everyone is doing the same thing and getting the same result.  If you don’t want to be an Australian statistic of ill health, chronic disease and being on a polypharmacy sitting inside not being able to move, then don’t do what everyone else is doing. 

Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result.  Insanity is doing what everyone else is doing and expecting a different result.  Do something different. Don’t do what the masses are doing. Learn a new way and join The Nutrition Academy to become the change the world needs to see.
